Scott, Rick and all others who can help,
Just spent $369 getting sewer tank removed, repaired and replaced, did not
even consider getting it cleaned while it was off, and only after job was
completed did I decide to get new sending unit. Ordered new one from
Cinnabar ($69. + 5.00 S&H) decided to replace it myself. After much agony
got it done but it leaks like a sieve and meter reads 1/2 full when tank is
empty and near empty when tank is nearly full. Questions, with the sending
unit mounted, at what position (of the clock) should the electrical
connection be?
There were 5 bolts holding the unit on the tank, one of mine was missing.
What kind of sealer should I use on either side of the gasket? I scraped
the area clean even used sandpaper to get best seat possible. Thank again.
