Well sounds like the big voyage is at hand and you'll probably find some
minor problems to correct. With as many systems as we take with us it's
not rare to find some little flaw here or there. But, I'm betting the
old girl will "strut her stuff". It's interesting that you are taking
off to Michigan on your coach since both I and my dad made that trip on
two separate GMCs not traveling together with a rendezvous in Detroit 3
days later last week with no problems. We also were involved in a race
in Michigan. His first few trips were certainly not without some
incidents, however. But, he has been getting it in shape as he goes.
Interestingly enough he followed the commodore's cruiser stories which
inspired him to Buy a GMC . He also found one for $5000 which is nearing
a good state of re abilitation but is certainly not restored to anything
like a new state yet. He made it from Alabama to Michigan and back and
was so happy with himself we couldn't stand him for a week. Now I have
to get him a computer and get him on the GMC net. He's retired and can
have lot's of fun at it. He's an aeronautical engineer by trade and
seems to be leaving his Beech Bonanza for his GMC. I feel more secure
with him flying lower now. I hope you have the same kind of fun on your
trip Arch. BLAST-OFF !!!
