Arch,

Thats what the PO did on my coach. I'm pretty sure he relocated/extended the
dump tube. Looks like a pretty clean installation.
I'll go out there and take some pictures for you.

Arch,
Somewhere on the net there are pics of the through the bumper hitch
installation. Someone out there maybe knows the location. I'll look and
send it to you if/when I find it.

Do the macerator... it will make a world of difference. Go to gene's
site and see some of the ways you can do one. I like the way mine came
out.

Arch,

I'm sending you the hitch/dump tube pictures private e-mail, just got my
digital camera last week and haven't had much time to play with it yet. I'll
start a PhotoPoint GMC album and post more GMC pictures once it's all
cleaned up and back together - it's a mess right now.

It sounds like the macerator is the way to go, just too many other projects
for me at the moment. So this is the way the coach came and I'll live with
it for now. I don't know what the original dump tube looked like, seems like
they just added a couple of elbows.
I can't find any information on the hitch in my paperwork-
I like the way it bolts to the frame though, looks like a good fit.

Good luck,

Peter

Arch, I put my hitch thru the bumper but my 3" sewer system has been
totally removed.

IMHO, the very first change anyone should make on their GMC is the
macerator. Nothing else will give you a bigger satisfaction return for
the buck!

No, you do not have to do the pump now. You can add, like I did, a second
valve which would be used on the macerator. Then just put your drain
wherever you want off to the side.

Arch

I have a through the bumper hitch and it did not change the original dump
system. Now I also have the Macerator but that is documented ;>)

I do not know if mine was built or where it came from so I guess if you
know it can be done is half of the battle

Arch,

Just sent the pictures again - I hope you get them this time.
I also put them on PhotoPoint:

Arch,

Looks like they added at least one elbow, the pipe attaches just to the
right of the hitch in the "up" position.
