I have just finished talking to my engineer about getting my coach registered here in Australia

to be able to keep it left hand drive i need to lower the GVM to 4.5 metric tonnes
part of doing this is to restrict the number of occupants to 2
i need to make a plaque that shows the layout of the coach and that designates which seats are allowed to be used
has any one got a high res drawing of a twin bed layout
if not a twin bed i could also work with one of the other layouts that at least have the dining table

Having driven right hand drive small vehicles in left hand drive countries and larger left drive US military vehicles in right hand drive countries, I
can not imagine you wanting to drive a wide vehicle (truck, motorhome, etc.) from the wrong side for the country.

You can not see around the vehicle in front of you and you will never be able to safely pass anything but the smallest vehicles that you can see over.

I know this is not the answer to your question.

When I drive my GMC(s) it is *very* rare for me to overtake.  I prefer
to chill while driving :-D

Sir, maybe you could remove all seat belts except for the 2 up front. You could argue that it was for 2 occupants only. I believe yours is an early
coach and is close to 4.5 metric tons (9920.802lb) anyway. Maybe fill it with helium filled balloons for an official weigh in.

G'day,

The Blue Streak had been converted to RHD by the PO and unfortunately I don't know of any hi-res drawings of the interior.

The only drawings I have seen are Boyd Mooney's on Bdub's website.

Trevor ,
Have you spoken to Rob Muller as he should have info

our legislation says we have to have a diagram permanently mounted that show seating positions.
i was just hoping someone had a hi res diagram so this makes it look a bit more professional.

i got impatient and mucked around on paint last night and came up with this
http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/rear-door-siesta-koala/p64499-seating-diagram.html

as for driving lhd vehicle in a RHD country i understand the problems as i have been driving LHD cadillacs 71 eldorado and 60 hearse here for the
last 15 year,
my wife will be my eyes of the centre of the road when following slower vehicles . we will very rarely overtake as i will be quite comfortable driving
at 55MPH (90KPH) our speed limit is 100 or 110 KPH
