Im new here and I have little to no experience to repairing a gmc motorhome. My dad decided to give me this projects so that I have my own place to love in as well as take it to my trip out to comic convention (though I have my doubt oh how to drive this big thing and do so cheaply) It have some roof, brakes, and interior work need to do on it and im looking for people to help me out. My dad throwing in major standard to make this thing look luxurious with little money to invest in.

I hope get alot of help on here and see if getting this motorhome was the right decision.

Welcome Cal. I am not sure if your Dad is being kind or trying to teach you a lesson! Maybe both.
At its heart the GMC is just a simple old American car, as long as you have the space and the tools you should be able to fix most of it on your own.
You will need the manuals, luckily the GMC club provides them for free https://www.gmcmi.com/gmcmh-manuals/

Calvin,

Welcome to the group, family, cult, asylum.....
You will find a lot of help and good advice here, but to be effective we really need to know more about the coach. While they may look much alike, there are differences and some matter a lot.

To this end, please put in a sigfile that has your real name (we like to know who it is we are helping), a short bit about the coach (year, model and anyu major mods) and a geographic reference because you may have a brand new old friend in striking range that can give you some assistance.

This is a community of supportive and helping people that want you to enjoy both the coach itself and what it can do for you. There is a lot of experience both here and at the older forum and do not be afraid to make use of what all can share.
