HELP NEEDED 60 KM SOUTH OF NORTH BAY ONTARIO

Or, to finish the trip, grab both halves of the connector and wiggle them.
That's be good for now.

If you can pull it out and start it from the switches on the board then we know the problem is with the remote start panel only.

The most common failure with the remote panel is a poor connection of the remote panel cable to the Onan. The connection near the rear of the Onan
gets dirty and then the switches fail. I cleaned mine up once about 15 years ago. I'll look on the photo site and see if I can find any pictures.

Thanks for your help Ken, really appreciate it. Look forward to the photos if you can find them, in the meantime I shall forward your suggestion.

Regards,
Mike

I should have said that cable is a 5 conductor one and the plug has 6 positions. I'm looking for a picture.

Just another point of note with the Frame rail connector and ROYALEs. The wiring colors dont match the wiring schematic. They were different when
Coachman wired up the inside panels. As suggested Cut and Splice ONE wire at a time.

77Royale - thank you as well for confirming the potential wiring issue, I will forward this along.

Mike

I forgot that is a Royale. They are different.

Yes, you may find that harness wired several different ways. Those guys at
Coachman were hired based upon their ability to fog a mirror when they
exhaled upon it. Always a mystery on plumbing and wireing.

Possibly,

I do not know how a coachman is wired. Does it have a separate starting battery or does it use the house batteries to start?

All GMCs are separate. And some Coachjmen and Norris wiring is a real challenge. Hare n Hound is Your Friend.
