Scott,
In Outlook Express go to the address book/ view/ sort by/ then you have your
choice, first name, last name and so on. Click on what you want and it will
do it without you having to scan, etc.
Let me know if you have Netscape and I'll look that one up for you.
Roger

Scott, About all I can think of would be to import your text into a
compatible SPREADSHEET program. You MIGHT be able to sort it there.
Good luck. I'm down to 500 hairs here. Consider yourself lucky.

Dick,
The following quote from you is degrading to my family name.{:>) I have a
reputation, well, somewhat, to keep up on this list.

"on the Black List (the REAL one"

Roger

Scott, You are correct sir! I do have FP connections (my brother-in-law is
running for mayor). Get ahold of something called Microsoft Works (bundled
with MS Home Office for under 100 bucks). It's easy to learn and use and
VERY valuable for many data management tasks.

PS: Yeah, Patrick put me on the Black List (the REAL one) for a recent
political rant. :-) That'll never happen again.
