Hello! Hunting for my GMC!

Woudl that be a 124 Spider, Les? I owned a '68 version while I was stationed in Germany 1967-1971.

Mine had a smallish engine; maybe 1400 cc or so (don't remember exactly). I think Fiat put bigger engines in after mine.

I'm not a big fan of the new 124 Mazda version due to cost.

Might be interested in yours.

P.S. Attempted to send the above direct to email shown as originator below, but it bounced.

Thanks Les. You are doing about what I hope to be doing in 2 more winters - getting away from the snow! Thanks for thinking of me but I have found
my coach. Haven't got her yet, but that will sort itself out come spring! However, that doesn't preclude me from wanting to see yours anyway when
you get back to home base - always nice to looky-loo around and see what everyone else is doing with theirs..

Good to see another local. I will definitely be in touch once I have the girl in the driveway!. It would make a nice shake-down run for me! A few
short trips around the "neighbourhood" before I look at the run back to Ontario to visit family.

Enjoy the sunshine

Interesting that GMC Royale Center Kitchen doesn't have a window just aft of the entrance door like most Royale CK's have. Wonder why.

Hi Deb: Something which may be of interest to you as a new owner. It's sometimes difficult to find someone to work on the GMC north of the border, but
there is a gentleman by the name of Carl Harr who lives in St. Albert, just outside Edmonton; he runs a couple of NASCAR teams, but in his spare time
works on GMCs, doing most mechanical work including swapping out engines and transmissions in his immaculate shop. He does first class work at a very
reasonable price. I had a bunch of work done last year and was very happy with the outcome.
Regards, Norm.

Thank you Norm! Nice to have a good source of reasonably local mechanical help. I have a couple of "young" fellas around here that are happy to give
me a hand once in a while, and a local AAMCO shop that has done some work on a couple, but I will tuck this nugget of information in my folder for
future reference. Maybe even drop him a line and stop by on my way east this summer on my first long run.
