Scott,
the material is a 3 inch flex hose I picked up at a local RV store.
It's used for permanent sites. It's kinda the same material that my shop vac
hose is made of.
It's flexible but doesn't compress much. I did force it to compress a little
so that I have some extra if I decide to lower the backend some more.
