Height Control Valves Adjustment

I have Dave Lenzi’s adjusters for the height control valves.

My memory (which has bouts of CRS) remembers an instruction sheet.

I have the Viair mounted and running, and all seems to be working and not leaking.

Suggested adjustment procedure? (or a copy of the instructions?)

I use the height tool from the Jerry Work alignment kit. It’s very, very well done.

Thanks.

Keep in mind, the controller has a built in delay so that the unit does not
"hunt".
I believe it has about a 10 second or more delay for response.

Dolph,

It is a PITA to adjust the ride height as per MM-X7525 / Section 4 / Page 34 / RIDE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT. Both DaveL's and KenH's
adjusters can be lengthened or shortened easily when compared to moving the valve arm in relation to the valve itself.

Just screw the adjusters in / out until you get the correct ride height. It's a good idea to drive the GMC in between adjustments.

It took me three driving trips of about 10 miles each to get mine adjusted correctly. Then after going on a several hundred mile trip I checked them
again and fine tuned them slightly.

Without Colonel Ken's adjusters it would have been much more difficult to get it correct.
