I keep a 9/16 box end wrench in the glove box and "power tune" on the road
when necessary by grabbing the vacuum advance to rotate the distributor.
It is helpful to have a thick towel or something to lay over the exposed
aluminum frame - it gets HOT!

Regarding working on stuff at the front of the engine, early on I made a
"bridge" cut 4" wider than the hatch opening, with another piece of board
cut to the exact width of the opening centered and screwed to the "bridge"
to prevent it from sliding . Yes I am thinking of upholstering it... .

As always, best regards.
