If you do not have them ceramic treated you will have a lot of heat to
worry about. I strongly recommend having them coated inside an

There is absolutely no real reason on our planet earth to not have these
coated unless you are building a dragster. The reason you coat is to
remove the heat. The steel manifolds are or will be cherry red going up
a small grade. Open you cover and take a look at night time. With the
headers they too will glow cherry red. With the coating they may start
to glow but not a great deal and in a matter of minutes after you turn
your engine down you can actually touch the headers. Honest. Chuck
