Any chance anyone has any headers or manifolds for a 455 in the Phoenix area? We are on the road and greatly appreciate all advice and/or tips :)

Shaun,What is wrong with your present installation? Sorry if this is a

Jr-

He found manifolds were leaking. (No gaskets). When installing remflex gasket his passenger side manifold cracked.

He is looking for a "non-cracked" passenger side manifold for a 455

Shaun- installation of headers will take some exhaust cutting/welding to fit the flandge. FYI. Fastest and easiest way is to stick with manifolds
for now.

How much did he tighten them. Only supposed to be a MAX of 14 FtLbs.
Manifold had to be cracked already to break at such a low torque
value. You retorque them after a few hundred miles to the same value
if they are loose.

Thanks everyone. You're right, the manifold was already cracked, and the Remflex gasket only made it worse. I went ahead and ordered headers and will
attempt to install here in Bullhead City. We have been put up by some amazing GMCers and we feel very fortunate!
