Heinz,

I would think if you mounted it on the master cylinder before the
combination(aka proportioning) valve that it would result in the piston of
the combi valve moving to the far end of its travel. Since these have been
known to "stick" in that position(I had a brand new one do that when I
installed it), this might not be the best place for the lock valve.

IIRC, Paul removed his combi valve when he installed Leigh's brake kit, so
this wouldn't be a concern for him. Like you, I kept the combi valve when I
went with the TSM brakes.

It works occasionally. I can remember something you told me over a year
ago, but what I had for lunch yesterday...
