Harbor Freight Folding Chair

Yep, they come on that sale every couple of months. I like them; have four. Only problem (for some folks) is the 250 pound weight limit. I suspect that is conservative and the chairs would probably be safe up to 300 if the user used care in sitting down in them. No big "PLOP" down in that case!

With my fat ass the only chair I would ever buy now is from https://www.renetto.com https://www.renetto.com/

Absolutely the best buy at around 60 bucks. A little more than others but you only cry once.

I absolutely despise the type of chair cited by Gary (below). They cause great pressure on my hips as MY fat butt sinks down. The basically flat seat of the Harbor Freight (and similar chairs) is far more comfortable to me. Just sayin'.

For military veterans not in the know, Harbor Freight gives a 20% discount over your entire order, even if you have used a coupon including the 20%
coupon one an item. I don't know if this applies only to military retired or all veterans. I have never shown my ID card, just asked for the
military discount. Harbor Freight screwed my life by opening a new store too near my home. I'm up to my neck with free tape measures, flashlights,
pewter screwdrivers, etc. and about 15 multimeters. My garage has room for one of my VW Beetles, and the other side is devoted to HF tools and GMC
and VW parts. However, I don't have one of the above mentioned chairs.

While I don't have as strong an opinion as Ol' Mac, I also find those umbrella chairs uncomfortable and too low. The main two things the HF chairs
have going for them is that they are cheap and light. The main drawbacks are no cup holders, and they're not overly well made. Other director's
chairs are available for twice (or more) the price.

For us, the HF chairs work well, for now. We might upgrade in the future. We had a pair of chairs from Sportsman's Warehouse that were nicer, but
had steel frames and were heavy. That's really not a factor unless you need to carry them a long distance to an event. At least they were not likely
to blow away. ;)

The problem I had with those is that I have a 23 with no pod. When you fold then, they don't get small enough to fit anywhere.

We had a pair of great chairs that were Chinese knock-off of "Strong Back", but the cheap plastic feet broke up.

If anyone is interested I have two GCI folding chairs in unused backpack cases for sale on ebay. They fit perfectly in a GMC (17” square folded up) and are a bit wider than most folding chairs when deployed. These are the very sturdy version two GCI chairs. The first version folded even more compactly but had a plastic leg hinge prone to collapsing at inopportune times. We carried four of these when we traveled in either the Royale or the Clasco and left two of them with the Royale. Starting auction price is $20 for the pair, no reserve. $90 each at West Marine new. Avoid the version one even though they are still sold ($106 each on Amazon).

Real easy to cut a hole in the aluminum table and put in a cup holder.

True Emery, and I have thought about that. Just low on my priority list right now.

Matt, We store ours under the converted permanent bed.

Good thought, but we don't have a permanent bed, and we do store other stuff in the aisle space while it is a bed.
The place we reserve for chairs is under the front dinette seat.
