Sorry I have not been giving much input as of late as my coach is down
again. Tranny decided it liked the FLA-USA climate better than Nebraska I
think. Thanks to Jim for standing by his word as he is picking up the
repairs at a shop here in "The Big O" and it only took me 2 weeks to find a
place to finally do it here! Nice to do business with truely honest folks
like The GMC Co-Op. Thanks again, Jimmy!
I have been disappointed (to say the least) in the stock gearing so I
ordered Jim K's 3.55 differential. Good warrenty of 2 years on the box and 4
years on the gears. Figured if it can survive the twin turbos it should
handle my setup just fine. Oughta be a freebee to install once the tranny is
out. It's a now or never deal since I didn't have Jim do it in FLA. I sure
hope it'll make the difference I've been looking for. I'll keep you all
informed of our progress.
Ya know, I keep telling myself (along with the misses and the kids) that
one of these days it will all be worth it. Seems like it's been a very long
trip to get there though... and I'm not quite there yet! Soon I hope...
Wanted to wish you all the very best in this upcoming year. Hope your
problems are far and few between. Thanks to all who have commented on and
helped with advice on my trials and tribulations this first year of GMC
ownership. Your input and this net have been a real god send. Happy
Holidays!
