Exact hardware replacement was 6 32 jack nuts. That’s what my 73 Sequoia has. Tried 8 32 well nuts and they were more trouble than good. Used 6 32 x
1.5”stainless screws with anti-seize just so maybe next time i won’t have so many issues.
Be sure to use the nickel based antiseize, and not the copper based. Copper Based antiseize will cause corrosion in aluminum.
