My wife Barbara and I (and our dog Jojo) acquired our GMC Motorhome in April 2019 -- the first coach for either of us -- following a six-month search. We never considered any other brand. We are the third owners and found ours by inquiring through the GMC Nor'easters about any nice coaches that might be coming onto the market soon. Good ones aren't easy to find in New England! We named it "The Komet" in honor of the prior owners -- it was cool and strange showing up at our first Nor'easters rally with such a well-known coach. All hail the cult!

I'm in the tech industry, having held a variety of roles including entrepreneur, software architect/developer, sales engineer, and product manager. I am also an avid music fan (blues, rock, reggae, oldies... check out my PondTunes Facebook page), scuba diver, car guy, tinkerer, photographer, graphic artist, and home theater/automation/computer geek.

Our goal with The Komet is to make friends, learn skills, express our design and creative chops, travel and camp regionally, and maybe spend a month or two in Florida during the winters. It's been terrific diving into the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and cosmetic work that is a constant theme of owning and maintaining a coach, and it's an honor to inherit the stewardship of a fine example of one of the most beautiful and best-engineered motorhomes ever conceived.

It's also great to see this modern forum take shape, and it is my sincere hope that it will further improve and enrich the GMC Moho community and information base for past, present, and future generations of owners.
