Here's a way to improve the odds of getting proper service done on your coach:
Make a xerox copy of the drawing showing "Location of Chassis Lubrication
Fittings" in your Operating Manual.
On another piece of paper, make a list of key data you usually need during
routine service; 1) brand & weight of oil, transmission fluid, gear oil and
brake fluid (especially if using synthetic), 2) specific numbers for
preferred parts like filters, belts, hoses, spark plugs, starter,
alternator, thermostat, etc., and 3) key specs like tire inflation
pressure(s), timing setting and plug gap setting.
Laminate these 2 sheets back-to-back (with a stiffener in between).
When they write up your order, you won't forget what the old coach needs,
and when the "grease monkey" goes to work on your coach, hand him the chart
and ask nicely that they grease all 17 fittings.
When the work is complete, wipe off the greasy finger prints and put it
away 'til next time.
