Grateful for the GMC Community

Four years ago yesterday, on Friday, August 12, 2016, our adventure began when we picked up our GMC Motorhome in Batavia, New York, and started the
journey home to Dunedin, Florida. We made it home that Sunday, August 14th. Since that time we have made so many new friends, and have learned so
much about the coach. To date we've been on 28 camping trips with the coach including 17 local GMCSS Rallies and 1 GMCMI international rally. We've
also spent many, many, many Saturdays working on the GMC. The wife and I are in our fifty's, and still work full time.

I am infinitely grateful for the help received from the GMC Community and primarily through this forum. Solomon in Ecclesiastes wrote; "there is
nothing new under the sun". To me that means that each and every challenge I've had with our GMC has already been conquered by someone else. I'm
grateful to everyone here who has shared their knowledge, wisdom, and experiences with me, and with all the other newbies, to help with our GMC
journey. With continued guidance, hopefully we'll get to use the GMC for twenty more years.

Thanks to everyone.

Russell,

I am glad you appreciate the power of the community as you know it.

If one has been so fortunate (as I have) as to provide assistance to a fellow owner, you may begin to understand why we are here as it is very
rewarding.

On the other hand, if one has had occasion to draw on the community for assistance (I am in this group too), the power that this community can bring
bear is truly awesome.

Now I am going to allow that this is the whole reason for my using everything I can to draw the local owners that do not know of the community in to
it. I have been somewhat successful and it is rewarding.
