Al; I was thinking the same thing, but since it's basically your gig, I was
waitin' for you to jump in and "volunteer".

Can you all visualize 40 or 50 GMC's caravaning down to Albuquerque from
Forest City? Talk about comraderie and security in numbers!

BTW, since Albuquerque is a regular stop on our swings thru the southwest,
might I suggest two things;

1. There's a good restaurant at the top of the tram ride on Sandia Mtn.
Make reservations for sunset. That way you can enjoy the nature on the way
up, the sunset at the top and the lights of the city on the way down.

2. Plan on spending at least a half day in old town. Ther are hundreds of
shops, galleries and restaurants around the outside of a loveley town
square.

Count us in Al.

Oops! Sorry Al.

My last post didn't sound right. I'm sure you know your way around
Albuquerque much better than I do. The sugestions were for those who'd not
been there before.

Let's see.....Santa Barbara to Kalispell to Forest City to Albuquerque and
back to Santa Barbara. Sounds like annother 5000 mile test run. ;-)

See ya on 10/5 (or maybe the 6th since us geezers will probably need and
extra day to cover the 1200 miles from Forest City)

Both of your wonderful suggestions are on the agenda. An evening trip to the
tram, and the view of the city is fabulous from the top, as well as a great
meal.
The second, is part of a day in old town, and if I can arrange it for the
non-tech session, I am trying a trip to Santa Fe.
Hope you all, and I mean all, can make it. Have so much planned and so little
time, but the food, the friendships, and the fun will be here. So - start
planning and packing. See you all in Oct. I will put a registration on the
net after a few weeks when I get the kinks worked out on the food.

That's not too far for a wonderful experience. Plan on coming and
finding all your net friends.
