Hi Max
Has the issue of camping at a rally on a daily basis been addressed
yet? I'd like to take part but can only attend the last 3 days.
If not, do you have any idea where I might camp nearby so I can take
advantage of the $15 day passes?
Thanks

Based on your needs, it appears we should look into providing this kind of
service. I will add to our Board of Directors agenda for Forest City.

Perhaps as the demographics of the members change (getting younger and not
retired), we should start raising this type of question. If there were
some spots set aside for part timers or if arrangements could be made with
the RV park for additional quasi reserved sites - first come first served
arrangements, but perhaps not always available. These sites might be on
the fringe or in another area of the park if available.
The International needs to be Member oriented, not volunteer oriented or
there will only an elite group that will attend. If we need to hire
someone at the convention to take care of this on a part time basis, last I
looked the international was not poor.
The International and the locals (most locals already do) should be doing
everything possible to recruit more foolhardy people and make it as easy as
possible to see what all the fun is about.
Maybe the convention should have an "Open House Day". Let the SOB's see
what we are so crazy over.
New blood and fresh ideas keep an organization alive and vital.
A little revolution now and then is a good thing.

....snip......
One of the things to consider would be to work out a site share program, I
can be there from Saturnday thru early Tuesday AM and if I could be paired
with some one like Jim or ? who could be their later in the week, we could
bettter utilize the site and our financial resources. This idea worth
pursuing?
