Maybe what we should be doing is to encourage a place like Ragusa to
advertise his products in the GMC mart. Great forum, easily updated and
maybe a better price. I can't believe how many parts are there. It would
sure solve a lot of mystery for replacement parts.
When someone has a question on a part, just refer them to GMCmart. No
more guesswork or searching the archives. It would minimize the risk of
erroneous information. Darren

Darren is right!

The GMCmart currently gets 10 - 20 parts each week. Which is a great
start. And gets about 2 - 3 corrections each week. So in one year we
will all have over 1,000 parts - but that's still 4-5,000 short.

BUT....

What IF....

Each of us "netters" just put in 1 new part and/or gave 1
correction/update each week ???

With 600 estimated netters, at 50% participation (we know there are
some who may not be able to help), (and allowing for heavy
duplication - which is ok as it will filter errors)...

We could have ...

600 x 50% x 3 months = 3,900 entries for about
1,500 to 2,000 parts (allowing for duplication).

And that is in 3 months - in a year we could reach
our 3-4,000 parts. Even sooner if we each did 2 parts!

The GMCmart is up and running now. It has a small base
of parts and could be an invaluable resource for us.

If we don't do it ourselves - it may not happen.
