Can anyone share any info. about "conversion parts & service guide" that is
advertised?
Does anyone know what a GMCll is? Is it a truck chassis with a motor home
on it?
Thanks Peg

Peg:

The GMC II is a 26' GMC coach that was refurbished by Explorer Van in Warsaw
IN a few years back. I saw on of the first one's in Jul 1995. One was on
display in the GMCMI Titusville FL Convention vendors area in Mar 1996. A
year or so ago they stopped remanufacturing them. They are characterized by
a dark/contrasting color paint band along the bottom of the exterior of the
coach and GMC II on each side, below the exterior of the cockpit slider
windows.

I saw a copy a couple weeks ago of the so called "guide". It's not much to
brag about. It lists no part numbers or prices and only lists various
categories of items/upgrades, which if you're interested in you call them
for further information. They'll sell you one for $50.00, if you want.

Hi Peg,

Some 22 GMC IIs were produced by Explorer Van by refurbishing older GMCs
into like new coaches. They were mostly sold by Buddy Bethune in NC and
seems to me they were priced between $65 and $70k.

If you run across one please get the TZE number, etc for me as I only
have 2 of the 22 in the Registry.

Thanks,
