gmc spotted

spotted a 26' going north bound on highway 81 in the town of yankton s.d.
they didnt stop, probably going to ia. had a sign painted on the back that
said "me and my shadow" anyone know who this is?....
while i have my fingers working ill update on my 78 E2...purchased july 18
and ive been working on it everyday since...rear brakes and cylinders, new
front w/bearings, brake hose, oil cooler hose,all engine hoses,water pump,
o/h alt. seal in a/c comp. pwr steering hose's..trans. cooler,c/v joints,
headliner, carpet, stripe removal and finished the painting the last stripe
today. tomorrow new E tires on new alcoa's. also did the Arch trick on the
lp compartment. and 2 trojan 6v. golf cart batt....have to buff out the rest
of the coach and then off to ia. on sun... but first i think ill take a day
off....

just me...and encouragement from my wife and she also helped with the
masking....hope the hell it will run a few miles without trouble...

In August I was in southern California. I was using a new GPS
program that has a computer generated female voice that tells me where I am
and when to change roads.I call her "Gertrude." She works very well on the
freeways in heavy traffic as I don't have to look at the map. Gertrude
gives me instructions .............snip................

Yep - That would be Dallas. There's a picture of him standing with Dave
Greenberg and Jim Bounds taken at Marion NC on my site in the "Marion"
section(linked from the "Rallies" page). Dallas full-times solo in his
GMC - quite a character.
