At the risk of becoming a lightning rod for those that use the
term "Lurkers", I think we should change the title to something
less offensive.

I have been a GMC lover since the beginning, and an owner since
1982. When I first learned of the GMCnet, I subscribed to the
digest. It was a rewarding experience to get a daily dose of the
commentary about one of my favorite subjects (GMC motorhomes).
As a long time owner, I had much experience with the maintenance
and diagnosis of the common GMC MH problems. Frequently, as I
read the digest, I would know the answer to a GMCnetter's
question. But while reading the rest of the digest, I would see
that someone else had already answered the question. Therefore,
there was little reason for me to comment. As such, I enjoyed a
lot of GMC posts, but contributed little. I think that all
"digest" subscribers are faced with the same dilemma.
Furthermore, if we choose to call these people "Lurkers", we will
distance them further from contributing.

This GMCnet has been a great resource of information for all of
us. I challenge this group to come up with a replacement for the
negative term "Lurker".

Hi Glenn,

I liked your NPP's don't know why, But it put a smile on my face.(might not
be good tho cause I know how I think) Also liked Darrens QP's, And Lookers.
But I don't think Lurkers is offensive, just my opinion. I believe if they
want to say something they will, otherwise they will gather all this good
info, And sooner or later some will return their info which will help all on
the good-ol-GMCnet.
....NPL's...... Non Posting Lookers.....
