The last 2 cars that we have had not including the 2020 have had a product call Ceramic windshield tine applied to the inside of the windshield. Most auto windshields do provide some UV protection. One example is if you have the type of lenses that darken in sunlight but inside the car do not change then the windshield is filtering the UV.
The Ceramic windshield film has a very light tint almost not noticeable but filters the rest of the UV that might come thru the glass and it cuts heat gain thru the glass noticeably, Had it applied in Florida and Tucson. Both were professionally installed, curved windshield are not a problem for a good installer as they pre stretch the film to shape then install on the inside.
