Just finished rebuilding my coach and want to go to a quiet campground near home. Not interested in going to the USA this year. Is there a forum or some guide available?

We just had a Rally for the GMC Heritage Cruisers this past weekend at our home near Thamesford ON. 7 coaches filled our driveway and a couple of day only members in their cars.

As far as campgrounds, we like the Provincial Parks as they are more traditional camping in the woods vs private campgrounds seem more like parking lot camping. Also Conservation Areas are good, more like provincial parks.

There are several FB groups such as Ontario Parks and RVing Canadians that discuss places to camp.

You might want to try someplace close to home as a first outing. Something like Wildwood Conservation Area near St. Marys, or even Fanshawe Conservation Area just outside London. Weekends can be full, but weekdays are generally not.

We are leaving next week with our GMC for a month traveling to Newfoundland.
