Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio GMC Owners Network Lunch.
1:00PM 21 April 2018
Same place as last time.
We are going to the:
Super China Buffet
8234 Telegraph Rd,
Taylor, MI 48180
=> This is between Wick and Ecorse on the west side of Telegraph.
This location was well received at the last get together. Not to mention the fact that it is easier to fit us all in a group. I will have the coach
sign as usual.
The next Network Lunch is planned for 19 May and this may be a mini rally. This plan is still being assembled. Please let us know what you think. I
expect it to be the last of the spring because I am hoping we are all going interesting places and won't have time to kill on a hopefully nice
Saturday.
That May event could be just a one day gather at a local park. One suggestion was Elmer Johnson Park in Romulus. Suggested by Greg Lassa who has
offered to host this (as he is a resident, he can reserve the shelter). There is still not much more to this plan at this time, but suggestions are
welcome. This has three things that make it a possible good plan:
Location is pretty central. (Maps will be provided.)
There is lots of parking space.
It is free to use. (A metropark might be nicer - not by much - and would cost money.)
Why isn't Greg publishing this? Because I have the mailing list.
I an hoping to have a running engine in an assembled coach at that time, but life keeps throwing little things in the way. Things like a new
granddaughter that kind of slowed work this week. And, I kind of need warmer weather to clean things outside. But I am at it.
This is another non-club, non-chapter event and no FMCA membership is required.
If you would like to get the e-mail reminder for these, send me a note at:
mattcolie at gmail dot com and I will add you to the growing list.
Hope to see you there.
Matt
