Hi Netters,

We passed the 4,300 mark today so to celebrate I am posting this letter
to the Net for anyone who is monitoring and may not have sent in their
data.

If your classic coach hasn't been registered or you aren't certain, send
the TZE number (VIN) and model to me via eMail or snail mail and I'll
check it out. If your coach has been sold please send me the new owner
info along with the other data required for the Registry.

I'll need your address, including the zip and area codes and any previous
owner history, if you know.

For a handy form go to http://gmcss.com/registry.htm Enjoy our GMC
Sunshine Statesmen Club web site while you are there.

The Registry was founded in 1993 and the goal is to see where all the
GMCs have gone. Of the 12,921 produced between 1973 and 1978, we want to
know,

A. How many are still alive and well and,
B. Where in the world are they?

If you know of any that have been parted out, used to make a stretched
coach or otherwise destroyed and IF you know the TZE number, send it in
so I can account for missing coaches as well. If, like some lucky
familys, your family has more than one GMC send the info into the
Registry. If you know of any that are being used in business or as
ambulances, crime scene detection units, radio or TV broadcast studios,
mobile blood banks, or as chicken coops, send in the TZE number, model
and usage.

The Registry info includes, TZE, Model, Owner's name and address, area
code, and any known prior owner history. We are presently at over
4,300 GMCs in the Registry and growing at a rate of 3-4 per day thanks to
the GMCnet, the GMC clubs around the USA, the various web sites and lots
of help from folks like ya'all (as we say in southern Florida)

By way of introduction, I am on my second GMC Palm Beach having purchased
one new in 1975. My current coach, a 1977, has over 580,000 miles on
the coach with 302,000 on its second engine. I am on the Board of
Directors for the GMC Sunshine Statesmen and a member of the Governing
Board of Family Motor Coaching Association (FMCA)

The info is held confidential and is not used for commercial purposes.

There is no charge or fee for this service. This my contribution to the
GMC Community.

Thanks in advance. Hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks John. I will take nada, nil, none, and gomenasai, as long as I get
a TZE number like you did. Eventually, the owner of that fine 23' coach
will show up and I can report it was seen in Palm Beach, FL? in May,
2000!

Thanks again..
