I have a good GMC Motorhome fuel tank out of the coach.

How do I tell whether it is a Main tank or an Aux tank?

If you need a good gas tank contact me.

Regards,

Don

Main tanks on a GMC units will have the generator fuel fitting at the rear
left corner.
If it is a coachman, it will not.

Main Tank will have another port on the top and to the drivers side back
corner to feed the Onan.

A good hint when dropping tanks is to drop the front one first, then the
rear.
Naturally raise the rear first. Makes the operation easier.
Also duct tape down the hose so it stays in the channel and not get pinched.
Be sure and replace ALL the vent lines as well as the Vapor separator, and
the generator hose.
The Tank selector switch as it has the old rubber that cannot tolerate the
ethanal.
Also your mechanical fuel pump as it has rubber diaphragm that cannot
tolerate ethanol.
And if nothing else, call me if you have questions as I do return all calls
addressed to me.

We have a good Auxiliary Fuel Tank, free for the pick up.

This tank has gone through the "RENU" process. The tank was the first in our development of
in-tank electric fuel pumps with a sump. The tank has a sump approximately 4 x 6 inches and 1 inch deep centered directly below the sending unit. The
tank is complete with mounting straps, is fully compatible with the standard GMC fuel pump system and is ready for use.

We have now gone on to a subsequent fuel tank / sump design and no longer have need for this
tank.

This tank is located in the Charleston, West Virginia area. The best way to contact us is to call 304 727-0494 and arrange to make the pick up. You
can also contact us through my personal
email don dot jeffers at frontier dot com or through the GMC forum

Best regards,

Don and Susan Jeffers

The rear tank was shipped with a genset fitting whether it was used (by Coachmen, Norris, and other upfitters) or not.
