George,

Behind the passenger side front access panel there's a plate with the VIN
stamped on it.

George,
Man, you must have the coach fever bad. Haven't found one yet? That almost
sounds like Chuck Kokesh. Was it at a storage yard off of 72nd street and
Hyway 370? If it had a front window then nope it's not him. Say, did I give
you his number to call for info? He's the resident 'spurt for GMC's round
these parts! Nice guy, always willing to help a fellow GMCer or wannabe.
Matter of fact I'll bet his coach will be going up for sale once he gets his
new stretch done. Very nice rig.

I spotted one just off 84th street in Papillion, NE. Looks like they
had a furnace fire, well something burned the paint off and melted
the roof just behind the door. Anyway, its gutted and rough in other
ways, too. Anyone know who owns it, or what the story is? I would have
gotten the VIN, if I knew where it was. I Didn't see it through the
front window. Could be a good "core" for a stretch.

Hi George,

Gotta have it!!!

Look under the passenger's side engine hatch. The plate is in the upper
left near the trouble light. Hopefully the front end is intact. I would
like to get this one before it gets further broken up.

Thanks in advance!

George, if I am not mistaken, that coach belongs to Grube dodge. They have
had it since it was new and they were a GMC dealer. I stopped in there a few
years back and looked at it before I bought my Birchaven, and it was in pretty
bad shape then, They wanted $21,000 for it then, so I deduced that they really
didn't want to sell it. A few friends have asked since then with much the same
story. It was suggested to me that they were wetting their employees use the
coach for vacations and such, but I can't confirm that. Any how, I wasn't aware
that there had been a fire in it. Might be worth asking again.

I spoke to chuck this morning about this coach, it's not his.
Chuck knows the guy (he's the original owner) and has offered him $$ for
it. Maybe now that it's a fire sale he'll sell.
