I would be very concerned with a rebuilt distributor from any Auto Parts
Store since the GMC motorhome is very different from the Car distributor
in terms of Mechanical & Vacuum advance. I don't think you can get a
suitable Rebuilt for the motorhome except at GMC Motorhome speciality
shops (Cinnabar, Dick Paterson, Bob Lamey to name a few). I have been
very happy & have seen many others happy that are running Bob Lamey's
Rebuilt Distributors.
Bob Lamey's shop is in the city of Ontario, Calif. Shop Phone is
909-982-7747. Can't go wrong with Lamey. Call Bob & ship it to him & it
will be back in a few days & it will be right for the GMC. Don't get
stuck with a Car Distributor.
