The GMC was a great design. To
bad it wasn't built by a quality RV manufacturer.

I was wondering if anyone else read this. I just read a "lemon" story on
one of the "quality" $400,000 coaches where the factory has had it more than
the consumer. After they delivered it back the last time, the quality RV
manufacturer sent a field rep to check out the complaints and he said he
wouldn't take it out of the driveway, it would have to be towed if it went
anywhere.

Who is a quality RV manufacturer??? Are there any?

Roger, home to the Black List and Tank{:>) Now if that guy will just sell me
his GMC this weekend at a goooooood price.

I agree Mark! I visited the factory in 1976 and admit the work methods
were poor but they were typical of American mfg'g quality (except for
IBM, of course!) of the 70's.

The fact that these GMC 's are still percolating after a quarter century
suggests to, me at least, that quality at the Pontiac factory was
probably above that found at other auto plants of that era.
