Thanks for your considerate opinion. Yes, others have advised me that the A/6 is
marvel of compressor efficiency design. But they also tell me the front seals
will all leak and usually pretty quickly after new ones are installed. That's
what happened to mine, it appears, because it is two seasons old and was
installed as a "new" Alma Products remanufactured unit. It has a sticker on it
proclaiming that it was "rebuilt for General Motors". That's why I'm wondering
if there might be a better option out there now. I just hate to have the repair
the same problem over and over. Thanks again.
