I thought something looked wrong. Still trying to find where to put my front
suspension coil spring assist air bags.

I don't think you should be letting shops/anyone lift the GMC with only one
suspension arm!! And there's not that much area there if it could anyway.
Should always use the bogie bottom. Use jack stands with jack on bogie for
added safety when doing work on the lady.
Just my thoughts. But be Safe!!

Oops. Should have said 3rd pair of wheels & tires, rear most wheels, etc. I
was assuming (yea, I know) that your guy had a drive-on lift, in which case
it had to be long enough to lift all wheels.

BTW, Mine has 2 axels.

FWIW..
You should also probably put the metal bar on the bogie support frame so it will limit the amout of 'downtravel' of both wheels. That should keep from getting to much stress on the shocks/etc.. of the wheel that is not being lifted. Be advised, the remaing wheel that IS being lifted, now carries all the weight of the rear.
