Just catching up from GMCWS Roundup trip & say your post. I have seen
just what you are describing where the front wheels are not providing
their share of braking. It turned out to be the choice of Brake Pad
material as not being compatible with our coach application. Performance
Friction Company's Carbon Metallic Pads (P/N 0524) fixed the problem. I
for one do not go for the 80 mm front calipers...to much braking up front
& over heat will occur. Asbestos in the rear & Carbon Metallic up front
does a good job (a great job).
And the Brake debate goes on !!!!!

A comment:

To all, not just Duane, can't we please do a better job of identifying the
subject. This particular thread on brakes has been "sewn" for more than a
week under a completely non-decscript heading.

As more and more GMCers discover this terrific resource, the number of
posts increase. To grean only the data of interest, the "subject" field is
usuaslly scanned, with non-interest posts deleated in search of "the beef".

More people will share more data if the "Subject" lines are kept accurate.
