Arch talked me into ording a great antenna for my Garmin. Very pleased with
the amplification. Don't know if it works with the Earthmate. If you can get
your antenna up high and clear of metal, it will work better. If possible,
since our front pieces are fiberglass, you can add a metal pie dish to get a
ground plane. Don't know if it will get a better signal with the earthmate,
but you might want to try.
