Yes we did take Bob & Karen Lamey with us & happy to report that he is
home safely & at his shop working on GMCs. He was out of business for 2
weeks for an overdue vacation.

Glad to hear that your Onan is functioning well with the Electronic
Ignition. I would take the faulty Ignition back to Onan & request a
refund or replacement unit since it was faulty out of the box. They
should be receptive to you return even being last Nov purchase.
I also have the Electronic Ignition & very happy with performance (thanks
to Chuck Aulgar's effort).

Any electric fuel pump in the path of the gas flow are restrictors when
not in the operate mode (on mode). Some fuel pumps are more restrictive
than others. Therefore I took a simple solution & installed my electric
fuel pump in the Aux tank fuel line prior to its connection to the fuel
transfer valve & connected the electrical function to the fuel transfer
electrical terminal. Now the pump is off & out of the fuel flow path
except when the Aux fuel mode is selected.
Works like a champ & simple...simple...simple.
One of many acceptable solution for installing an Aux Electrical Fuel
Pump.

I got a real kick out of his phone message, guess it was his wife, she said
"he will be on a ship for 2 weeks with nothing to fix""
