Hey Dave,

I wouldn't dream of "treading on your awning", except of course if it
was blown off in some tremendous windstorm. BTW, I saw a coach at
Buskirk's undergoing extensive bodywork from just such an occurance.
Seriously though, you make an excellent point about different strokes
for different folks. For instance, keeping the sun off the fridge coil
is a plus that would never have occurred to me, because in Michigan that
would be a consideration for exactly two days each summer.

As for the rainy day benefits; my first GMC Rally was a few weeks ago at
Marion, N.C. I'm quite sure that I was told that it never, ever rains
when a GMC is camping somewhere. If that turns out to be some cruel joke
perpetrated upon a "newbie", your arguements take on a whole new
meaning.
