John, you're surely not the only one. I quite agree. We bought a pop up
canopy at Sam's Club for under $200.00 and we can place it over the
picnic table or wherever we want. It stores in a bag which we keep in
the pod.
Of course many purists don't like the look of a roof pod either, but we
need our "attic" since we don't have much of a "basement".
