I also asked someone to buy me some and I would pay for it. I have looked at
our home depot for a "orange heavy liquid" that would stay on the fittings until
one could find the air leak.

If there is a refrigeration supply house near you, you might check with
them. These liquid leak detectors are very commonly used for looking for
small refrigerant leaks. WWGrainger might also have it; don't have a catalog
handy.

Post again if you don't find it in a couple of days and I'll check with the
supply house here. I can get it for you, I'm pretty sure.

Thanks for hint. Went to my Graingers book and behold... low temp non
hazardous gas leak detector... leaks appear as large strong bubbles which cling
to the applied surface and are flourscent under black light. Use on most gases
such as air, natural gas etc. Item no 3tro8. $4.09. I will get mine on
monday. Will let the net know how it works.
