Is there anywhere that has pictures of the different models such as
Palmbeach, Canyonlands, Royale, Eleganza, etc? I know there were many
colors but want to see the original paint schemes and interiors.

The original Kingsley colors were a creamy beige, with brown and orange
stripes. At least my 77 was.

I could send you a photo of an original paint scheme of a '77
Kingsley (mine).....sorry, I only have one GMC, not like some of
the other guys.
If you get a collection of them in original style paint, I wouldn't mind
a copy myself !

Thanks for the question Roger,
And I don't know where the answer is, but after having decided I want
the 26', and then that I need the rear bath, I wonder if all these
models have all the different floor plans, or if there is a particular
model I should be looking for to get the rear bath. I wonder just how
many models there are. I know of those You listed as examples;
Palm Beach (one or two words?)
Canyonlands
Royale
Eleganza
There are also the; Eleganza II
Glenbrook
Birchhaven
Glacier
Painted Desert
Coca Cola
?________?SE (special edition/all electric)

and I believe there are at least 2 others.

Thanks for the question Roger,
And I don't know where the answer is, but after having decided I want
the 26', and then that I need the rear bath, I wonder if all these
models have all the different floor plans, or if there is a particular
model I should be looking for to get the rear bath. I wonder just how
many models there are. I know of those You listed as examples;

The Beaumont was another model and was a transmode. It and Hughes were
outfitted as motorhomes and sold in Southern Ontario - no more than 50
total. Birchavens, Coachmen, Royales, Avions, Crestmonts, and Norris as a
minimum were transmodes outfitted as motorhomes by companies other than GM.
Eleganzas, Palm Beaches, Canyon Lands, Glaciers, Sequoias, etc. were
motorhomes completely done inside and out by GM. I don't know who did the
Coca Colas and Roll-a-Longs - don't think it was GM!

New question on GMC Models. Anyone heard of Desert Sand Model. Can't find

Desert Sand is likely Painted Desert...

Desert sand sounded like a GM color to me also. They may be the ones to
really look at as they probably don't know what they really have.

I'm inclined to believe Mike is right on track here.

But.....
Two different people having made the same "mistake" makes me
wonder if it really is a mistake.

Try the above for starters. Don't forget Seqouia, CanyonLands, Landau,
Norris, Hughes, Midas, Roll-A-Long, Avion, Crestmont, Edgemont,
Foretravel, Eldorado, etc, etc.

expect the Avions have more rounded edges inside. Floor plans varied
slightly.

For the most part (my opinion) the interiors done by the finishers were
not of the same quality as done by GM.
