Are there any groups of GMC motorhome enthusiasts that travel together? Air
Stream does it all of the time with their Wally Byam caravans. Sure would
be nice to travel with 8-10 others. Anyone interested?

Tom, there is a tour being put together by Yankee RV Tours that is being
held open for 20 GMCs.

It is a 30 day Canadian Maritime tour, 2,213 driving miles and the tail
gunner is Pat Brewer, GMC owner par excellance!

For more info call Rod Coe at 800 721-1640 and ask about the group III
tour.

How much you ask? $2,995!

I think you have a great Idea. It would be a super way to get to meet some
of
the
"GMC letter writers" we read about and "talk to" on this E-mail Network.
I have always wondered why this was not set up by the various organizations
(i.e.,
like the Great Lakers). As a new owner, it would be a less distressful to
me,
then heading out on your own. If we get back from AZ in time, Joan and I
plan
to follow Paul and Josie Bartz to Myrtle Beach this spring. If I may be so
bold, I would suggest that perhaps others from this area might join the
procession. Better check
with our "Wagon Master" (Paul Bartz) first. Any comments Paul?

It sounds good but the club that I belong to "The GMC Heritage Cruisers" are
having our rustbuster on May 21-23 1999 in Verona New York at Turning Stone
Casino. We try and have 4 meets a year and I have to say my wife and I have
met some really nice people at the first 2 meets we went to. It is amazing
to me how compatible most of the people are.. Nice to meet others with
similar interests.

Wife and I are going through Myrtle Beach sometime in January 1999 on our
way to Florida.

As a side note, last year when in florida we came across a whole gagle of
GMc Great Lakers that were spending a few warm weeks in Titusville. That
was just before I bought my Palm Beach. Hope they did not get sick of me
asking questions. I hounded them for several days until we departed back to
New YOrk.

If this in reference to a gathering at the Salt Flats, great idea. I am sure that
I could find the time to be there. Do you guys really think that you could be
ready for 1999 or are you going to shoot for the millenium speed record. Darren
