Arch-
So what you say just goes to prove -it all depends on how you look at
it-there's always some good no matter how bad a situation is. I was in a
similar situation as you. At that time I didn't know much about them,
didn't have a puller and it was only later when I removed the bearings
the service station put on, I discovered they had cut the old ones off.

Yaknow, if I didn't have a puller, I'd be inclined to get Tom's, if I
were you- man, and even autographed-might even become a GMC collectors
item some day. You could always swear Tom to secrecy that he wopuld
never reveal that you had got one from him.

I can't believe I read this! Could it be that maybe there'll be a truce?
I hope so, there is too much for all of us to lose if the two of you
continue to wage war . One of us innocent bystanders might get
hit by the crossfire .
Keep the faith Arch,

PS My puller wasn't signed :(

Tell you what Arch I will even autograph it in blood if you want one. All
kidding aside at $110 it is the best investment in peace of mind you will
ever make. And if you still don't want to use it, at 8# and beautiful finish
it makes one hell of a paper weight. Or maybe a missle for blasting myths?
First one of my pullers that goes to the Internationals this month will see
many envious people wanting to buy it when they find out the price. Worst
part? I am not making any money on these damn things.

Peace

Dick there has always been a truce. Arch and I are like two elephants trying
make love in a greenhouse.

P.S. Dick each puller is marked. I can tell them at a glance.
