I have received the final estimate for the GMC front wheel bearing puller
that I have been trying to finish for the last months. Sorry for the long
wait but I think that it will be worth it. I will have the prototype the
middle of next week, will test it and make any changes I think necessary.
However I can't imagine what changes will be necessary. I am having the
split rings and two adapters made out of 4140 prehard steel, very very,
strong. It is a very heavy duty puller and should pull even a seized
bearing off the hub and put it back on if you want. the final cost is: Will
send each of you pictures later tonight since I can't send them thru
patricks site. Looks like we beat the ceiling of $200. I need a confirmation
and money from each of you. I will order 50 sets to enough to fill all of
the orders.

Tom -- or anyone,
Just after I logged on to the GMCnet, I believe I caught a post in here
indicating that one of the major things to do was to install the CORRECT
FRONT WHEEL BEARINGS.

If that IS true, 1) why in the world would GM put a coach on the road with
the WRONG bearings, and 2) looks like I get to change them and will need one
of Tom's Super Whiz Bang Front Bearing Taker Offers!

Emery , O.K. the way I read it tho was 100.00 for Tom's tool and we
would order puller on our own for another 80.00 If he's going to ship

I get the first one middle of next week. I made some changes to it, and
will use it to pull off my driver side bearins and reinstall them. If
everything works when I try it,ie; fit and everything is OK, than the others
should be available shortly thereafter. I than will have to pack each one
and individually ship them. Will give you a more exact date end of next week
