Allen;

I had the same problem with my '76 Royale. I solved it the cheap way; went
to my nearby foam rubber store and bought a 6" thick queen sized mattress.
It was 60" wide by 80" long. I had them cut it in half, then cut 4" of the
end of each one.
I ended up with 2 30"x76"x7" mattresses (and a couple 30"x4"x7"pieces left
over) and, the best part, only spent about $125.

We bought a pair of fitted twin sheets to cover them with. We use regular
twin linens etc., and then some smooth bed spreads and matching pillows to
restore the look of couches.

The look is neat, and the sleep is terrific!

Hope this helps,

Regarding the read bedroom bed. I put a double bed pillow top lux mattress
in there and it fits perfectly and has all the comfort you could want. But
the cost is up. Just by looking you wouldn't think it would fit but I stuck
it in the hole by myself. picksam
