GMC coating headers

Tom -I am surprised that you say that they were able to coat the total
length of the header inside- if that is true - it sounds good . But in E
mail from Richard Tucker at Swain he said-"...we usually try to go as
far down into the header as possible, especially down that first bend
where the most heat is built up". That doesn't sound like, from end to
end to me, but I will correspond with them further in light of what you
say. Have you noticed a substantial reduction of heat in the motor
housing area as claimed?

Claude I bought them last summer and they are still in the box waiting to be
installed, along with a furnace, new calipers, new rear bearings, macerator
pump,god only knows what else in my garage. Somewhere is all my paperwork I
have a set of pictures and prose from swain that details how they actually
coat the headers. This is one of the questions that I asked swain before I
got mine coated. I looked down both ends as far as I could see and they were
coated. If I now find out they are not I am going to be very upset.
