Thanks!! This kind of thing was done a number of years ago by Joe and Randy
Johnson. It was always fun to see them pull up, open the back hatch and
back their "Mini" out of the GMC. These were the original Mini Coopers that
Randy restored as a hobby. Randy use to bring his "Moak" which was RHD.
He and his Dad, Joe, would take it for a ride in town. Joe would sit on the
left side (normally the drivers side) with Randy driving the RHD, and as
they were riding, Joe would read a newspaper. Drew a lot of stares!! For
sleeping, the bed was raised up and the car went in under the bed. On
arriving at a campground, the car would come out and the bed down for
sleeping. Joe is in his 90's now and just a sharp as a tack. Decided to stop
driving when two things happened. Lost his keys and found them in the
refrigerator. And cut his whole lawn without putting the deck down. They
were
members of the Greater Midwest Classics, and now moved to Utah. To our
dismay we don't see them much anymore. Such great people!!
