You seem to know alot about diagnosing problems with bearings. Would you
comment on the wisdom or lack thereof of puting zerks on ones front hubs
and pumping grease in there, thereby eventually filling the whole
central area with grease. What effect would that have when the axel gets
hot,would it affect turning resistance, is that the way a bearing should
operate? Might this be ok in some applications but not in a front wheel
drive application such as we have? Also do you have experience with
automotive bearing applications, or is your experience with other areas?
Would that make any difference?
